NEW CORE SHOP
Bruhl UK Ltd invested 2.5 million euros in a new core shop
This layout shows the final concept, which included 5 Laempe and one Davecore core machines, one core glue drying stove and one RDM core blacking stove along with the entire relevant power track, cooling hoods, assembly stations, cranage and extraction.
The assembly drawing took 28 days at the end of which all departments from production planning, shift production supervision, maintenance, production tooling services and cleaning services had their input so that once installed, start up problems were minimised, work up time to full production level was cut to a minimum.
Having a detailed site assembly drawing allowed the installation to proceed seamlessly, from laying the floor, plant delivery, extraction ducting installation and services, first production samples on each machine as it came on stream allowed tooling errors to be corrected this allowed the whole cell to come on stream on time and at 100% production.
